the attributes from the assault type II suit are out of place compared to all other suits. it makes the type I suit pretty much obsolete. all other type II suits give up something to gain the advantage of the type II suits:
-heavy = a little less hp, less synergy with logistic armor repair -scout = slightly slower, less stamina -logi = has one less equipment suit (biggest drawback of all suits actually)
what does the assault give up? nothing. what does he get? big shields which are great for prolonged fights, more total health & more speed.
this should be looked into. |

imho the more total health is too much, bring it on par with the type I suit. |

You do gain a lot of shields in return though. and your point is? it has more total health than the type I additionally to the speed gain. this is the only suit that gains more total HP additionally to all other benefits |

Panther Alpha wrote:Yep, to make the type II durable in battle, you have to use " Basic armor plates " in the two slots, which they cost 2,400 ISK each, a total of 4,800 ISK per dropsuit, add to that 9,840 ISK per suit, and you have a total of 14,640 ISK. Then add weapons, other modules, equipment and grenades, and the cost can go as high as 35,000 ISK / 40,000 ISK. And that is assuming that you don't using any Tier 2 weapons. With the Type 1 suit you don't need the Basic armor plates, and the cost is 6,800 ISK per suit, which is allot cheaper. You can have a "decent " Type 1 suit for about 25,000 / 30,000 ISK. Which is allot easier to maintain. Phew.... that was a mouth full. the type I is still less durable despite having more armor. the type II still has more total health from the beginning and the huge shields are the best protection in prolong fights. |

You can use two "Militia Shield Extender" units, in the type 1 suit, which will boost you shield to 169 hp, and they cost only 450 ISK, 900 ISK per dropsuit. and the assault type II can do the same |

also many seem to miss the point. assault type II gets MORE TOTAL HEALTH over the type I additionally to all the other benefits of having more speed/stamina and having big shields. none of the other type II are like that. this is a design/balance flaw.
